This adorable Polar Bear cub was born at Tierpark Hagenbeck Zoo, Germany, to mother Victoria, who was herself the last cub born at the zoo. The first-time mother and her cub have spent these last months in their den, but zookeepers can monitor their progress remotely.
Victoria has been an attentive and loving mother, zookeepers said. The cub’s father, Kap, will leave the zoo in coordination with the European Endangered Species Program to create more space for Victoria and her cub.
