Three men have been convicted of conspiracy to murder a man in Birmingham, who owed money to a high-level drug dealer currently living in Dubai. The man was shot five times at his home in Sheldon. Messages found on Encrochat implicate the trio in the conspiracy.

A 44 year-old youth worker has pleaded guilty to grooming more than 70 teenage boys online while pretending to be a 16 year-old girl from Birmingham. Former children's holiday camp manager Cameron Osman used social media to find his victims. He pleaded guilty to 36 charges.

Next week sees the Peaky Blinders return to Birmingham. Dance company Rambert's cast of characters from the iconic show will be performing on stage at the Hippodrome. The show picks up the story at the end of World War One, following Tommy and Grace's love affair.
