Frank Crumit - Three Little Words

Unfortunately, Crumit, a very popular vocalist in 20's and 30's, is largely forgotten nowadays. He made his first recording in 1919 for the Columbia label, and then later signed for Victor Records in 1924 and shortly after for Decca. He appeared in several Broadway shows, and performed regularly with Julia Sanderson, whom he married in 1927. The couple retired from show business for two years, but following their comeback in 1929, they were extremely successful together on radio throughout the 30's until Crumit's death in 1943. This lovely record was made in 1930. Mr. Crumit was accompanied by the Victor Orchestra directed by Leonard Joy.
