Mother’s Day this year will take place on the 19th March, so we’ll be looking at all the great things to be getting up to with the fantastic ladies in your life, this week we’ve got a full day of activities at Castell Coch. Learn all the language of flower arranging and take a tour of the castle, where you’ll find out all about a famous local mother Lady Bute. Taking place on Saturday 18th March, the day before Mothering Sunday.

Carmarthenshire will be welcoming fans of Dylan Thomas from all around the world later on this month at the annual Laugharne Weekend in the very town Thomas once lived. The festival has literary and musical performers in the small town from world renowned poet John Cooper Clarke to internet political commentator/comedian Jonathan Pie. Taking place from the 24th to the 26th March.

The Glynn Vivian Art Gallery in Swansea is hosting a special His Dark Materials exhibition showing props and costumes from the TV show. Celebrating the highly regarded programme, the exhibition shows some insight into how the world was created here in Wales, with special behind the scenes footage and concept art. Open now until the end of April.
