Cost of living: Warm hubs open across Liverpool as winter crisis looms

Due to rising energy costs and the cost of living, councils across the region are supplying warm hubs, which offer those cutting back on heating over the winter a space to warm up. As the nights draw in and the temperature starts to drop, the change of season is well and truly upon us.
