"Holy Gold" by Kalman Gavriel ("The Jerusalem Scribe")

In #Hebrew, the word #Holy is "Kadosh". It comes from a root word that means "separate" ("nivdal") - something separate from this world, something you can never quite put your finger on…

As we wipe away the layers of our #life - our youth, our mistakes, and our deepest thoughts and desires that we haven’t yet manifested - we are left with a framework or residue of who we are and what we can become.

We remove the infinite possibility of life and create a life for OURSELVES - finite and at times lacking, but truly OURS.

Like a snowflake that, at some level, is completely unique and different from any that came before or after, our life is ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE!

What if that is the essence of the word "Holy"? What if our firm conviction is that we are absolutely unique, no matter how we are treated by misinformed critics and robotic algorithms, claiming we are all the same. What if that is the source of our Holiness?

As we clean away the layers of confusion, at times even while being confused, we find the point in us that is truly Holy. The part of each of us that can never be duplicated - yet is synonymous with that which cannot be fathomed - HaShem ("G-d") blessed be He/Her.

Let me know your Holy thoughts on the matter
