Laing, Hunter, Ronson, Pappalardi — The Secret Sessions 1999 (UK/USA, Hard/Blues Rock)

The career of this short-lived studio super-project turned out to be so fleeting that its participants did not even have time to come up with names for it, and the publishers had to title the album with the names of the recording participants, which turned out to be, perhaps, better than any advertisement. In 1978, the record company's management refused to further finance the project, and the unclaimed recordings of Laing, Hunter, Ronson & Pappalardi were buried on the dusty shelves of the archives. Only 20 years later, Pet Rock Records released them under the name "The Secret Sessions", supplementing two Corky Laing songs from his solo album. Unfortunately, neither Mick Ronson, who died in April 1993 of liver cancer, nor Felix Pappalardi, who in April 1983 was accidentally shot by his own wife from a revolver, did not survive to this day.
