Award-winning artist’s new single reflects on past vulnerability
The new single from Berkshire-based songstress Tiger Lilly is released on Friday 24th April, following a three-year hiatus.
Showcasing her refreshed sound, Game Over captures the artist’s struggle to find the strength to get through difficult times after suffering in silence. A stripped back arrangement and eerie whispered backing vocals convey a sense of vulnerability, further illustrated through a sparser production compared with Tiger Lilly’s previous releases.
“We all face trials in our lives that can make or break us”, says Tiger Lilly. “Sometimes those battles come from within, but I wanted to channel my personal experiences to write something positive that I’m sure a lot of people can relate to”.
Game Over marks Tiger Lilly’s return to music-making & has already received airplay & support from BBC Introducing. Her previous releases include the award-winning single Broken Glass & 2017’s pop-infused Green Eyed Monster. She has previously performed at Pride (London), ATLAS Festival & at the London 2012 Olympic Games as part of The Games Walk Festival.
