Ukraine claims Russian Major General Vitaly Gerasimov killed during battle near Kharkiv

The Ukrainian defence reported that another Russian general, Vitaly Gerasimov, was killed during the battle near Kharkiv on Monday, March 7. According to the Ukrainian defence ministry, Vitaly Gerasimov played a role in the Second Chechen War and the Russian military operations that took place in Syria.
