On February 22, farmers in Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh reportedly released stray cattle in an open ground near the venue of a rally by the state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Reportedly, the farmers wanted to highlight the stray cattle problem in the town. A video of the act has gone viral on social media. In response, CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted a video clip of PM Modi's assurance last week to solve the issue of stray cattle in UP if the BJP retained power in the state. Soon after, the Congress party criticised the BJP government in a tweet. Elections are being held in Uttar Pradesh to elect the next government. The voting will take place in seven phases. Counting of votes will take place on March 10. Watch the video to know more.
