Union Minister Smriti Zubin Irani has turned author with her debut novel 'Lal Salaam'. The Union Minister's debut novel is based on the lives of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officers serving the country in violence-hit areas.
The plot of the novel revolves around the April 2010 massacre in Dantewada, which resulted in the deaths of 76 CRPF personnel.
