Nepal: At Least 77 Dead After Three Days Of Incessant Rains, Widespread Flooding

At least 77 people lost their lives in Nepal due to landslides and flash floods caused by incessant rains for the past three days. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has announced relief packages for the families of the deceased and those injured by the floods and landslides. As per a Hindustan Times report, the government would provide $1,700 as relief to the families of each dead victim and free treatment for the injured. More rain is expected in the coming days.
