Controversial French business mogul Bernard Tapie dies at the age of 78

One of France's most recognisable figures - the businessman, football club owner and politician - Bernard Tapie - has died at the age of seventy-eight. In a statement - his family said he passed away peacefully after battling stomach cancer for the last four years. Tributes flooded in - including from the French president.
