Kanwar Yatra Cancelled: UP सरकार ने भी कांवड़ यात्रा की रद्द, संघों ने जताई सहमति | वनइंडिया हिंदी

This year Kanwar Yatra has been canceled in Uttar Pradesh. Additional Chief Secretary Navneet Sehgal gave this information on July 17. He said that after the appeal of the state government, the Kanwar unions have taken the decision to cancel the yatra. The Kanwar Yatra was to start from July 25. Actually, this decision to postpone the Kanwar Yatra has come a day after the Supreme Court's direction.

उत्तर प्रदेश में इस साल कांवड़ यात्रा रद्द कर दी गई है. अपर मुख्‍य सचिव नवनीत सहगल ने 17 जुलाई को इस बात की जानकारी दी. उन्होंने कहा कि राज्‍य सरकार की अपील के बाद कांवड़ संघों ने यात्रा रद्द करने का फैसला ले लिया है. कांवड़ यात्रा 25 जुलाई से शुरू होनी थी. दरअसल, कांवड़ यात्रा स्थगित करने का ये फैसला सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देश के एक दिन बाद आया है.
