14.56 cr vaccine jabs to 45+, 1.06 cr to 18-44 yrs age group so far: Health Ministry

Joint Secretary of Health Ministry, Lav Agarwal on May 24 informed that a total of 14.56 crore COVID vaccine jabs have given to people above 45 years so far while 1.06 crore vaccines given to people between 18 and 44 years of age. “Vaccination is another pillar, we are focusing on. We are providing free vaccines. A total of 14.56 crore (1st and 2nd doses) vaccines have been administered to people above 45 years of age. While 1.06 crore vaccines (1st dose) has been administered to people between 18 and 44 years of age,” said Lav Agarwal.
