Anthony Edwards Doesn't Know Who A-Rod Is | Timberwolves vs Nets

Rookie Anthony Edwards spoke with media after the Timberwolves were blown out by the Brooklyn Nets, 127-97. With Minnesota beginning the changeover in ownership from Glen Taylor to former MLB star Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez and billionaire Marc Lore, both the Timberwolves and their WNBA affiliate Minnesota Lynx will be under new ownership by 2023. When asked on his thoughts about new owner Alex Rodriguez and if he was a fan growing up, Edwards was confused. "I don't know who that is. I know he's going to be the owner. But I don't know anything about baseball". The remarks led to a funny and amicable exchange between A-Rod and Edwards via Instagram. Edwards is currently a favorite for Rookie of the Year honors.
