Shoaib Akhtar feels Ahmedabad Pitch was Poor in Pink Ball Test| Oneindia Sports

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar had his take on the issue. The ‘Rawalpindi Express’ was of the opinion that the pitch was not an ideal one for Test cricket. Akhtar stated that a Test match that gets over within 2 days and a pitch that offers an unreasonable turn is not good for the health of the longest format of the game. Akhtar also added that India have used the concept of home advantage ‘too much’ and stated that if the Indian side had scored 400 and then bowled England out for 200, then it was right to say that England batted poorly.


अहमदाबाद की पिच पर अब तक घमासान मचा हुआ है. हर कोई अहमदाबाद की पिच पर निशाना साध रहा है. अब इस लिस्ट में एक नाम शोएब अख्तर का भी जुड़ गया है. शोएब अख्तर ने भी जमकर भारत की इस पिच की आलोचना की है. और उन्होंने कहा है कि भारत को ये सब करने की जरूरत नहीं थी. ऐसी पिच बनाकर टेस्ट क्रिकेट के क्रेज को खत्म कर रहे हैं. गौरतलब है कि मात्र दो दिन में ही टेस्ट मैच खत्म ही गया था. तीसरा टेस्ट मैच पिंक बॉल से खेला गया था. जहाँ पर इंग्लैंड ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए 112 रन बनाए और फिर भारत को 145 रनों पर समेट दिया. इसके बाद मात्र 81 रनों के स्कोर पर भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने इंग्लंड को समेटा और दस विकेट से मैच अपने नाम कर लिया. इसके बाद पिच को लेकर शिकायतें शुरू हो गयी.
