Dutee Chand And Other Sportsmen/Women In Same Sex Relationships

India’s fastest woman Dutee Chand has accepted that she has found her soulmate in a girl from her hometown whom she has known for a few years. After the Supreme Court decriminalised same-sex relationships in India, Dutee Chand gathered courage and came out to the world, being the first athlete in India to do so. Bringing home two silver medals in the Asian Games 2018, fighting for the eligibility of female athletes to now being a face for the LGBT community Dutee brings much power to today’s women.
