US woman stands trial over texting boyfriend to kill himself

A 21-year-old US woman, whose boyfriend took his own life nearly three years ago after she sent text messages encouraging him to commit suicide, has gone on trial. Charged with involuntary manslaughter, Michelle Carter faces 20 years in prison if convicted.
