Finance Minister Tito Mboweni says thieves are at his door

Finance Minister Tito Mboweni says the trust has been broken by thieves assembling at his door. He wants to end the emergency procurement of personal protective equipment and go back to an open process. Mboweni says Treasury has clear procurement processes. He will now meet with Finance MECs to ensure compliance. The Finance Minister was speaking to Parliament's finance committee about claims of corruption in the awarding of PPE tenders.
