Once upon a time, down by the equator
Was a bird so absurd, an annihilator.
10 feet tall, with a beak like an axe
It always traveled alone, never hunted in packs
With a neck held high, he could spot his next feast.
Banging his head, till the beast was deceased.
South America was isolated all on its own
The place where terror birds made their home (NO)
smilodon to compete for a snack
Just fields of sloth for them to attack.
It comes - Titanis the Terror Bird

It hunts for survival
No one’s its Rival.
After a million years continents they did drift
As they came together, the ground it did lift.
Volcanoes, spewing fire in the sky.
The isthmus was formed, and now you know why!
Species from the north, and the south they ran,
The Great American interchange began.
Terror birds are running north moving their feet
With smilodon, and other foes to meet
This time around they’re not hunting alone
As predators compete for the throne
It comes - Titanis the Terror Bird

It hunts for survival
Now it has Rivals
Run, Run for your life
Your life’s on the line
For the first time
Titanis on his way to mexico
Looking for something to eat.
He spies a tasty mixotoxodon
It’s time to eat meat.
He’s gotta run, he’s gotta feast
He’s gonna show you who is the beast.
It’s the thrill of the chase
Raining down terror all over the place.
And the dire wolves smelled the meat
And they were thinking they wanted to eat.
Well they circled around the beast they had found
Ready to fight for their meal tonight!
