A group of nine influential US senators has introduced a legislation in Congress seeking to authorise the President to impose sanctions on China if it fails to cooperate and provide a full accounting of the events leading up to the outbreak of the coronavirus. More than 250,000 people have died and over 4 million infected due to the coronavirus pandemic around the world. The US is the worst-hit country with more than 80,000 deaths and 1.4 million cases, news agency PTI reported.

अमेरिका के नौ सीनेटर्स वहां की संसद कांग्रेस में एक बिल लाए हैं जो राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप को चीन पर प्रतिबंध लगाने का अधिकार दे देगा. अगर ये अधिकार मिल गया तो ट्रंप चीन को जवाब दे सकते हैं. सीनेटर लिंडसे ग्राहम के इस बिल को आठ सीनटरों ने कांग्रेस के उपरी सदन सीनेट में पेश किया है.
