Tours to Panmunjeom could resume in June on a trial basis

Tours to the inter-Korean truce village of Panmunjeom could resume as early as next month.
Seoul's Unification Minister, Kim Yeon-chul, said during a press briefing on Thursday that, improved security measures will ensure that tours can resume on trial basis from June... after they were suspended last October as a preventive measure against African Swine Fever.
The Minister added that, as soon as COVID-19 is dealt with, Seoul will look at ways to promote inter-Korean cooperative projects.
But, in the meantime, it will try to implement practical cooperation with the North such as ways to combat infectious diseases.
