PYRENEES 4K

The Pyrenees is a mountain range that forms the border between Spain and France. It extends from the Bay of Biscay all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. We arrived here at the end of February 2020. We did not have optimal equipment yet, and had very limited time. However, we tried our best to make something out of it, resulting in this video, consisting of timelapse and drone footage. We know there are still lots of things we can improve on. We are still not satisfied with the end result here, but we will try our best to make sure that our next video will be top class. Since making this video, we have invested a lot in new equipment (motion control e.g.). Also, we have learned lots more about post-processing and editing. This will make it easier for us to improve our video's. An example: the choppiness of some clips in this video is because we made a mistake with frame rates, where we put 30 fps clips on a 24 fps timeline. In our next video's this will not occur.

Most of the footage here was shot in the eastern parts of the Pyrenees, also known as the Catalan Pyrenees. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to travel further west than Andorra.
