Protesters slam president Duterte’s move to close ABS-CBN, top media group in the Philippines

A dozen people staged a demonstration in support of the Philippines’ largest television network ABS-CBN on February 26, 2020. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has filed a court case aiming to deny renewal of the media group’s franchise, which would mean their television and radio broadcasting arms would have to shut down.
