Much attention is paid to the highest places on Earth. Tales abound of heroic climbers who scale Mt. Everest.
But according to CNN, scant attention is paid to the lowest places on Earth.
One of the most dangerous low places on Earth is the Danakil Depression in Ethiopia.
At 425 feet below sea level, this hellish volcanic landscape vents sulfuric acid, belches poisonous gases, oozes hot oil and wafts toxic hot air.
