Pet Tiger Rescued Back to Health -- Aria the Tiger

Aria is not your typical housecat and proves she belongs in the wild. Aria is a tiger. She was owned by a loving family which did not have resources to provide the care Aria needed — she was 200 lbs. underweight and in desperate need of specialized care. When she was brought to Carolina Tiger Rescue, a non-profit dedicate to protecting all wild cats, the caretakers were tasked with nursing her back to health. Aria is healthy now and Carolina Tiger Rescue is working to educate people that animals are beings, not things. For more information on Global Tiger Day, click here.
