Tuason testimony could be a 'winning shot': Guingona

MANILA - Senate Blue Ribbon Committee chairman TG Guingona on Thursday thanked socialite and former Palace aide Ruby Tuason for agreeing to testify on the pork barrel scam. In his opening statement, Guingona said Tuason's cooperation in the investigation on the pork barrel scam is important since it will shed light on the culprits. He also said Tuason's testimony could be more than just a "slam dunk", referring to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima's description of Tuason's testimony. He said the testimony could be "a three-point shot na buzzer beater na, winning shot pa." ANC, February 13, 2014
