Alleged hired killer shot dead in Navotas

MANILA – An alleged hired killer and drug pusher was killed in a police encounter before dawn on Thursday. The suspect, identified as Russel Balino, was shot dead by policemen after he allegedly fired shots at them in Barangay San Jose while he was on board a motorcycle. Barangay San Jose chairman Amos Hechanova said Balino had been involved in various crimes such as drug pushing and murder. – report from Carolyn Bonquin, ABS-CBN News
