Hong Kong protesters cheer as they part ways for ambulance

Protesters parted to let an ambulance through the crowds, as they clapped and cheered outside the main police headquarters in Hong Kong on Friday afternoon.

Thousands gathered around Hong Kong Police Headquarters to demand charges against detained protesters to be dropped with the filmer commenting the protest "sees no sign of waning."

Protests started last week in opposition of the controversial extradition law, but new calls for the police force to release detained protesters and to apologise for the use of tear gas and rubber bullet have emerged.
