Gym Class Heroes - The Queen and I

Originally recorded live and aired as part of the Fearless Music Show in New York City and recently acquired by One Media.
A United States rap rock band from Geneva in New York who formed in 1997 when Travie McCoy met Matt McGinley in high school. Their music doesn't fit into one single genre and is influenced by a wide range of styles including hip-hop, funk, reggae and rock. Current members of the band are Travie McCoy on lead vocals, Diashi Lumumba on guitar, Eric Roberts on bass at Matt McGinley on drums and percussion.

"The Queen and I" was released in 2006 as was their first to reach the US billboard charts peaking at number 40. The song failed to chart anywhere else. Later that year they released "Cupid's Chokehold" which went straight to number 12 in america and 3 in the UK. For 5 years that was there biggest selling single until in 2011 when they released "Stereo Hearts" with Adam Levine.

"The Queen and I" has been featured in computer games such as Tony Hawk's Project 8 and as an instrumental version on Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08.
