Memoir to Be Released Prince started his memoir,
'The Beautiful Ones,'
prior to his death in 2016. Now, a "newly envisioned" version
will be released with the
help of Prince's estate. It will include the "early pages" that Prince had conceived with the help of writer Dan Piepenbring, along with rare photos and handwritten lyrics. The original handwritten treatment
for 'Purple Rain,' the 1984 film and
album, will also be featured. Random House, via
'The New York Times' Chris Jackson, via
'The New York Times' 'The Beautiful Ones' is scheduled to
hit bookshelves in October.
