SC: Not right to protest against Campa Cola order

The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Campa Cola society residents not to protest outside the society against the demolition order.
The apex court also said that the residents could file a petition again to stay the demolition of the illegal society.
The apex court had on June 3 dismissed the plea of the residents of the illegal flats against an earlier order asking them to vacate their apartments by May 31.
The top court had ordered the demolition of illegal flats in seven buildings in February last year.
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) undertook the first phase of its work between June 20 and 27.
