Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy gifted himself two brand new Toyota Prados, one of the most expensive in the SUV segment, on Dasara and started using them from Tuesday.
The latest additions to the CM's convoy will burden the exchequer with an additional Rs 4 crore, official sources told this newspaper. While the cost of each vehicle is about Rs 1.5 crore, another Rs 50 lakh was spent bulletproofing each, the sources added.
