Teen killed by falling into pothole in Mumbai

Police on Friday registered a first information report (FIR) in connection with the death of a 16-yearold boy who died after the motorbike he was riding hit a pothole on the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (Submerged pothole kills teen on JVLR, MM, July 30). The parents of Prakash Bilhore approached the police to register a complaint against the BMC's Roads Department officials, following which a case was filed under the Indian Penal Code sections 304 A (causing death due to negligence) and section 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life).
