BJP leaders used jet owned by 2G accused Shahid Balwa

Big twist to the mid-air flight scare of the BJP top brass, when a chartered private jet developed snag on way to Bangalore from Delhi on Monday. It has emerged that the saffron party had hired the services of a company owned by tainted businessman Shahid Balwa. The move has created turbulence in the BJP ranks, especially with it demanding strong action against Balwa in the 2G scam. Balwa is accused of funnelling nearly Rs. 180 Cr into a DMK-owned TV channel for 13 telecom licences when party leaderA Raja was telecom minister.
