J&K: Jamaat-e-Islami bans tourists from wearing objectionable clothes - NewsX

The separatist Jamaat-e-Islami has issued a diktat for tourists thronging the state. The group dictates that the tourists must follow a proper dress code when in Kashmir or skip the destination altogether. With a new diktat from the right wing moral police, the tourism industry in Kashmir may be in for some fresh trouble. The radical group believes the dress code of the tourists is destroying religious, cultural and social ethos of Kashmir.
