Nation celebrates Janmashtami on Monday

As the country celebrates Janmashthmi on Monday, Mumbai is all geared for its famous Dahi handi festival.But interestingly, this year around the Anna fervor has caught on. The Anna fervor was evident at all the major centres like Jalgaon, Dadar, Thane and Bhayander in a big way. The Govinda troops were seen sporting Anna T shirts. Janmashtami is also known as Gokulashtami which marks the celebration of the birth of Lord Sri Krishna.
