Illegal seal hunting in China

Some 62 spotted seal pups rescued from an illegal farm in Dalian, northeastern China will be re-introduced to the wild in the next three months. The baby seals were among 100 pups found at the farm in early February 2019, a third of which died. Three farm workers were detained and five suspects were arrested.
