Beginning with their first number one hit, 1964's "Where Did Our Love Go," Diana Ross and The Supremes earned 10 chart-toppers in a three-year span. Ross was glam before "glam" was a thing, a fashion plate for the ages. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Ross is the most successful female music artist in history. In 2016, Ross was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
