Incheon's Terminal 2 used by more than 19 mil. pax in first year

Last week marked one year since Incheon International Airport opened its second terminal.
And in that time, it's been used by more than 19 million passengers.
That's according to airport figures through last Thursday.
Incheon as a whole handled more than 68 million passengers... of which 28 percent used the new terminal 2.
The second terminal was a boon to the airport's duty-free and food and beverages, which rose from the year before by 12 percent and 27 percent respectively.
It also helped reduce congestion -- the time it took last year on average to get through security and immigration at terminal 1 was reduced by 4 minutes... to 37 minutes.
It took 31 minutes at terminal 2.
And in that time, it's been used by more than 19 million passengers.
