Netta Jenkins is the Director and Head of Diversity and Inclusion for IAC Applications. “IAC Applications is one of the largest technology companies in the world. The company consists of developers, designers, marketers and tech gurus that create products that simplify and enrich people’s lives." sys Forbes Magazine. "Jenkins’ role is to create an inclusive work space for everyone at the company steering away from segregated groups such as women in tech or people of color groups.”
Netta has devoted her career to inclusivity in all respects in the workplace, and this series will capture the importance of the kind of work she does. She will be the “Dr. Phil” of D&I in corporate America. These aren’t just people within her company--people from all over the country reach out to Netta for advice and guidance regularly via her blog. This series will showcase Netta’s ability to facilitate delicate situations in the workplace and ultimately provide people with solutions to create a happier, healthier work environment.
For episode 2, viewers start to learn all about Netta's job at IAC Applications. We meet her boss, Tim Allen (the CEO of IAC Applications) as he explains what Netta's job is. He summarizes his appreciation of her knowledge and value to the company in this way - "She knows what Diversity and Inclusion isn't, but she also knows what Diversity & Inclusion is."
We see Netta work on her ongoing company mentorship program, pairing up-and-coming talents with mentors to help promote Diversity and Inclusion within IAC. And we see her take a couple of meetings with people from outside IAC who have come to seek her advice as an expert in the field. Netta's non stop day is all about helping people and this first glimpse in will draw viewers into her world.
