China’s new bullet trains

New bullet trains have been introduced in various parts of China. In Beijing, the new model Fuxing trains – the longest high-speed trains in China – debuted in preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics. In northern and eastern China high-speed trains began operation, sharply reducing travel times. Meanwhile the construction of the high-altitude railway connecting Lhasa in Tibet and southwestern Sichuan province is underway.
