Jace Roquemore

Foothill senior basketball player Jace Roquemore announced his commitment to UC-San Diego on Thursday. Roquemore, a 6-foot-5 guard, grew up dreaming of playing college basketball, and idolized his older brother, Evan, who played for the Falcons and in college at Santa Clara. The younger Roquemore, as a four-year varsity player, began earning recruiting attention toward the end of his sophomore year. He visited UC-San Diego in the fall, and spoke glowingly of the fit, coaching staff and weather. The Tritons are a Division II program right now, but will be Division I starting in 2020.
