Inside Metallica's killer new stage design

Metallica's "WorldWired Tour" boasts their most elaborate production values yet. The mammoth stage, which occupies the center of the arena, boasts 83 laser fixtures and nearly 40,000 speakers. 52 LED video cubes ascend and descend during the concert. The show features “world’s first autonomous indoor drone swarm for a major touring act” with over 100 drones. When Metallica toured stadiums last summer, it took 48 semi-trucks to transport the production from one city to the next. Expect new sounds in addition to the new sights: Metallica hasn't performed the same set list in 15 years.
