Hurricane Willa Still Dangerous as Category 4 Storm The storm intensified off Mexico’s Pacific coast Willa sustained winds of 160 mph, The hurricane center said it could hit Mexico’s southwestern coast as early as Tuesday afternoon. Near the coast, Willa will bring large and destructive waves. Some areas could experience up to 18 inches of rain. This could cause life-threatening flash flooding and landslides. After going through Mexico, Willa could drop between 1 and 3 inches of rain on parts of Texas.
