Congolese Mukwege & Iraq's Murad Awarded 2018 Nobel Peace Prize

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Denis Mukwege of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Nadia Murad of Iraq were awarded the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize. Mukwege, a doctor who helps victims of sexual violence, and Murad, a Yazidi rights activist and survivor of sexual slavery by Islamic State, were honored for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war.
