Irwin Cotler was the Member of the Canadian Parliament for Mount Royal from 1999 to 2015. He served as the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. He is also a legendary human rights lawyer, having been a lawyer for Nelson Mandela and Natan Sharansky. Here he talks to Dr Alan Mendoza about the challenges facing Israel in the international arena of human rights.
