Now Ji-won we also heard there was only one family where a parent met their child?

Yes Daniel, that's Cho Duk-yong, an 88 year old North Korean man who finally got to meet his 67 year old son, Cho Jung-ki, for the first time.
The elder Cho left his family when his wife was only three months pregnant with their son, who never got to hear how or why his father had left them.
It was only recently that he got to see a photo of his father for the first time.
Cho Jung-ki said his mother missed his father her whole life, and that he will go ask his father all the unanswered questions.
So now, with the father and son reunited, we can hope he'll finally be able to hear all those old stories.

We also had families that got to meet after trying many times but never quite getting there.
Choi Seong-taek and his siblings finally met with their sister in the North after 20 years of trying to reach her through these family reunions.
They had registered 18 years ago,... but their sister Choi Seong-soon couldn't be found because she'd been living under a different name, Ahn Gil-ja.
Choi Seong-soon had been taken by the North Korean soldiers during her class when she was only 18 years old.
But once Choi Seong-soon had changed her name back, she was able to request a meeting with her relatives in the South, and the family was finally brought back together.
