“Avengers: Infinity War” was a box office shattering special event — one that rewarded Marvel fans for their decade of devotion with references galore and Easter eggs aplenty — while at the same time being accessible for fans of superheroes and the MCU who might not have seen every single film. For this Infinity War analysis, we conducted a breakdown of various scenes and clips to figure out how Marvel was able to serve both die-hard fans and comic book laypeople.

There aren’t many out there, but if you look at a negative “Avengers: Infinity War” review, their biggest beef is likely the amount of characters and plot needed to understand the film. However, one of the biggest Infinity War secrets is how expertly it arranged the plot and characters, like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Hulk and more into a digestible format
that still makes sense for people who have never heard of Thanos. Sure, moments like the appearance of the Red Skull, the arc of Thor, or the heart wrenching conclusion of the film might have thrown a few people for a loop, but this movie somehow manages to keep both kinds of audiences happy.
